We understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances may arise, and we want to make our refund policy as clear and fair as possible. Please read our refund policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions for refunds on courses, dive trips, and products.
1. Course Refunds
Cancellation by DiverGen: If a course is canceled by DiverGen due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, instructor availability), you will receive an option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Cancellation by Customer:
7+ Days Before Start Date: Full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.
3-6 Days Before Start Date: 50% refund or reschedule with a 10% rescheduling fee.
Less Than 3 Days Before Start Date: No refund, but you may reschedule with a 20% rescheduling fee.
No-Shows: If you do not attend the course without prior notice, no refund will be provided.
2. Dive Trip Refunds
Cancellation by DiverGen: If DiverGen cancels a dive trip due to weather conditions, minimum participant requirements, or other factors, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Cancellation by Customer:
14+ Days Before Departure: Full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.
7-13 Days Before Departure: 50% refund or reschedule with a 10% rescheduling fee.
Less Than 7 Days Before Departure: No refund, but rescheduling may be possible with a 20% fee, subject to availability.
No-Shows: No refund for no-shows or late arrivals.
3. Product Refunds (If Applicable)
Eligibility for Refunds: We accept returns within 7 days of purchase for unused products in their original packaging with proof of purchase. Certain items (e.g., used dive gear, custom orders) may not be eligible for refunds.
Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team. Once the item is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7-14 business days.
Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases where the item was received damaged or defective.
4. Exceptions
Medical or Emergency Situations: If you are unable to attend a course or trip due to a medical emergency or other exceptional circumstances, please contact us. We may offer a partial refund or credit on a case-by-case basis with valid documentation.
